Slab homes and older pier-and-beam homes
Around Waco you find both newer homes on concrete slabs and older pier-and-beam houses. Waterproof rigid core vinyl plank suits both once the subfloor is sound. On a slab we check flatness and level where needed; on pier and beam we check the joists and subfloor first, and repair them before any plank goes down.
Baseboards often break when they are pried off because of all the nails, so in most cases we leave them in place and add shoe molding along the gap for a clean, finished edge. If you prefer, we can remove the baseboards and replace them with new ones. Our crews are insured, and every installation has a 6-month workmanship warranty from the date of installation.
