Vinyl plank warranty: limited lifetime residential
Every HomeLike vinyl plank line we sell carries the manufacturer's limited lifetime residential warranty, plus a 10, 15 or 20 year commercial warranty depending on the wear layer. Rigid core and WPC planks are warranted 100% waterproof, with a pet-friendly stain warranty.

What warranty comes with your vinyl plank?
The HomeLike vinyl plank we sell carries a limited lifetime residential warranty from the manufacturer. Commercial warranties run 10 years on 12 mil lines, 15 years on 20 and 22 mil lines, and 20 years on the 8mm 28 mil premium line.
What does the warranty cover?
Manufacturing defects, and the surface wearing through, staining or fading from sunlight or artificial light under normal use. Rigid core and WPC planks are warranted 100% waterproof, and a pet-friendly warranty covers permanent staining from pet urine that is cleaned up promptly.
What if my floor is discontinued when I make a claim?
HomeLike replaces the defective material with a HomeLike floor of equal value. Even so, our featured lines are running lines, so you can usually buy the same floor again.
Does the warranty cover installation labor?
If the floor was professionally installed, HomeLike may pay reasonable labor on approved claims made within 36 months of purchase. Our own crews install it. Our crews are insured, and every installation has a 6-month workmanship warranty from the date of installation.
What is not covered?
Scratches, loss of gloss, dents, cuts and impact, damage from improper installation or care, extreme heat, freight damage, and mold or mildew from prolonged moisture. After the first year, residential and commercial claims are pro-rated by the manufacturer.
How do I make a warranty claim?
Contact the store you bought from within 30 days of finding the defect, with your proof of purchase. We coordinate the claim with HomeLike for you.

Find a lower advertised price on comparable vinyl plank and we will beat it by at least 5¢ a square foot. Comparable means first-quality (A-grade), a running line, the same thickness and wear layer, and a manufacturer warranty. Closeouts, clearance, B-grade, discontinued colors and liquidation lots don't qualify. Show us the ad or written quote.
